Updated COVID-19 –TRAUMA AND BEYOND

We are here for your support and healing throughout this time of anxiety and fear in our communities.

We at Trauma and Beyond are aware of the fear, anxiety and even danger that is active in our communities due to the Covid-19 virus. We want to help continue to support your healing while also practicing best safe practices to help our clients, staff and community through this difficult time. We are actively working to be there for our program community as well as doing our part to help slow down the spread of the disease while also being conscious of the needs of our community.

Safety Changes to our Protocols:

We are having in-house sessions, with social distancing, no hugs, no close contact, proper spacing.

Current clients (and staff) if they or family members or someone someone they have been in recent contact with has experienced or is experiencing fever, cold-fu like symptoms including coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath or chills are being asked to take covid test and shift to Zoom sessions if they have even the slightest of symptoms (e.g.sore throat, cough).

Clients and staff will be asked to check in immediately with our office manager if they have ben exposed to someone with covid but have no symptoms for a home covid test. If they have symptoms they should stay home.

Clients and staff will be asked to wash their hands (with soap 20 seconds) upon entering the facility and before leaving the facility, and throughout the day between sessions and groups. 

Staff will be sanitizing the office throughout the day with CDC approved infection prevention and sanitation protocols. 

Office will be sanitized nightly and throughout the day. 

When necessary by CDC protocols, Clients who have traveled to a Coronavirus affected geographic area within the last 14 days or been in contact with anyone are being asked to voluntarily quarantine for 14 days. 

New admissions are being asked if they have traveled or been in contact with a traveler and will be asked to provide current health report of self and family. 

Program will be closed to visitors. 

Therapists will be confirming clients have washed hands and have no symptoms. 

We will be continuing to monitor daily any emerging needs and precautions to implement.

Clients who feel any symptoms are asked to stay home and if feel able could participate in zoom session with their therapist. Clients will not be penalized for missing sessions.
