About Celeste :

Celeste is a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and an ERYT200/RYT500 through Yoga Alliance. She is also certified as a Meditation teacher through the Masters of Wisdom and Meditation program by davidji, as well as holding certifications in Yoga of Recovery, Yoga of 12 Step Recovery (Y12SR), Yoga for Mood Management and Yoga for Self-Regulation and Trauma. She does workshops and trainings for clients and other teachers and has a new course on Yoga University Online called Trauma-Aware Yoga – Creating a Safe Space which is the first of a three part series on Teaching Yoga for Substance Use Disorder.

Celeste is passionate about yoga and using it for healing the body, mind and spirit. She has a personal connection with complex trauma through family addiction, which inspired her to develop Yoga Tarana – an effective therapy for complex trauma & addiction recovery, helping people reconnect to their ‘felt sense,’ which is often shut down by repetitive trauma. Celeste also has extensive experience using breath and movement for reducing or eliminating breathing disorders, anxiety and insomnia brought on by the effects of trauma and addiction.

“The mind may lie to us but the body always tells the truth.”
