About Hope:

Hope is a Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner and has worked as an Art Therapist and Clinical Counselor for over 20 years. She received her MS in Art Therapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School, then went on to work in the New York City area, the Los Angeles area, and Hong Kong. She worked for almost 10 years at Del Amo Hospital’s National Treatment Center, where she worked with trauma recovery/DID, eating disorders and sexual addiction programs. She has also enjoyed her work with child/adolescent/family therapy centers, domestic violence/ shelters, various substance recovery and inpatient hospital settings such as the VA, as well as Hospice. She utilizes an eclectic approach and enjoys incorporating creative approaches to treatment such as Cinematherapy, writing, meditation and Inner Child work. Other areas of interest include HSP/HSC (Highly Sensitive Person/Highly Sensitive Child), and adoption-related issues. Hope loves exploring how life, creativity, and healing intersect. In addition to art, other passions include experiencing other cultures and creative fields, as well as experiencing various traditional eastern trainings in Asia.
