Anxiety Treatment Center

Anxiety Treatment Center in Sherman Oaks

If there’s anything we’ve learned thus far from the Covid19 pandemic, it’s that taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health. With the onslaught of daily updates on infection rates and death tolls — and let’s not even get into the argument of mask-wearing vs. freedom of choice — anyone can become susceptible to an anxiety attack just by watching the news or going through social media. We at Trauma and Beyond Center ® and our team of therapists in our anxiety treatment center are here to help you manage your anxiety during these turbulent times.

What to Do When Things Get Too Overwhelming?

Dealing with anxiety during “normal” times is hard enough already. Adding external factors like the possibility of getting infected, people getting into arguments in supermarkets because of masks, and political divisiveness could very well be the tipping point that can push an individual over the edge and into a full-on panic attack. The current events are so stressful that even someone who doesn’t suffer from anxiety issues is likely going through the same problems as a person with mental health issues.

Thankfully, we live in an age where mental health has become a top priority, most especially for Americans. Treatment centers are now more accessible and seeking professional help has lost its stigma and has become a part of everyday life. Mental health is now an integral part of self-care and we owe it to ourselves to be more proactive in our pursuit of happiness.

In the age of Covid19, toughing it out is simply not an option anymore. Covid19 has taught us that we cannot go through something like this alone. While we need to physically distance ourselves from each other, the only way to survive this is in coming together to help each other. And that’s what we at Trauma and Beyond Center ® are all about. We’re here to help you get through this incredibly difficult time when all of your fears, all of your confusion, all of your frustration, all of your anger are just bubbling up to the surface and are just waiting to burst out of you like an explosion. We’re here to help you release all of that tension and guide you back to a calm and mindful state.

Trauma in The Time of Covid19

This pandemic has brought on traumatic experiences for many. Some have had to deal with sudden deaths of loved ones, unemployment, displacement, homelessness, and those who have been infected have had to deal with the trauma of the illness. Even our frontliners have had to deal with the trauma of facing constant death in hospitals, having to choose who gets to live or die in the emergency rooms, and just the sheer exhaustion from having to work for prolonged periods of time in highly restrictive protective gear.

Here at Trauma and Beyond Center ®, our primary goal is to help anyone who needs psychiatric help in whatever form that might take. Our anxiety treatment center is here to provide help, guidance, and a safe space for people who have become vulnerable during these turbulent times. Your mental health and well-being is our primary concern and our team of caring and qualified therapists are here to assist you towards the path back to healing and a happier and healthier state. You are not alone in this struggle. This is not just your fight. This is ours. And if we are to win it, then we all need to work together. It’s the only way for us all to survive.
