Group Psychotherapy

“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.”
― Fred Rogers

Clients will participate in a variety of groups. They may include trauma skills, resource building, process groups and specialty groups.

In group therapy, clients learn to feel less alone in their suffering. With the support of expert facilitators who can maintain a safe and containing environment, clients can experience what it is like to be with others on a similar journey. Walking with others through the various phases of treatment is incredibly beneficial; it helps clients experience that this is a process, sometimes a difficult one, and that healing is a marathon and not a sprint.
