Lori has worked at a women’s shelter with female victims of domestic violence, at a Psychiatric Hospital, treating trauma, eating disorders, SUDS, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and personality disorders, DID, and co-morbidities with suicide ideation. She also worked in a 12 step based woman’s PHP and IOP shelter for drug and alcohol treatment.
Lori completed her MS degree in Clinical Psychology at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Before licensure, Lori had the opportunity to work professionally with a range of multicultural patients at the Veterans Hospital/Long Beach, assessing patients diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUDs). Lori also worked with a private group practice for three years, specializing in treating clients (individuals, couples and families) with trauma, depression, and anxiety.
Lori’s passion is to help you regulate your emotions, learn mindfulness and somatic techniques to stay aware and present in your body. It’s possible to become aware of the meaning you give to situations, be more conscious about your choices, and live a more authentic life.
